Captain Kenneth J. Huber serves as the Commander of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division and Coroner’s Office Division. Captain Huber started his law enforcement career in April 1995 as a Deputy at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was a member of the Special Community Anti-Crime Team (SCAT) for nine years. He served in the Warrant Division for six years; the last four were as Lieutenant. Captain Huber has participated in numerous professional schools during his law enforcement career. Captain Huber is a Certified C.P.R. instructor. He was the recipient of the Public Service Award in 2008 from the Sunrise Rotary Club of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors Degree.
Warrants Division
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office Warrants Division seeks out and arrests those persons who have warrants issued for their arrest by the courts. These warrants range from Contempt of Court Warrants for failure to appear in court, to Affidavit Warrants issued for their initial arrest for committing a crime. Approximately 2000 warrants per month are processed through this office.
