The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office Patch

The flag represents our nation, the pelican our state, EBR our parish and the Fleur de lis’s incorporated into the star, the city of Baton Rouge. We maintained the six-point star because it is traditional for the parish. The 11 stripes and the top 9 stars serve as a reminder of September 11, and the first responders that served our nation in that tragedy. The large star is in honor of Flight 93 and the brave men and women that sacrificed for our country. The bottom 3 stars are a reminder of the three terrorist targets.

We wear it proudly and with honor.
