EBRSO has implemented a paperless inmate mail process and is now offering electronic messaging for friends and family to contact inmates at the Prison. Paperless mail is processed through EBRSO’s new digital mail management provider TextBehind. Please visit TextBehind.com for more information on sending inmate mail and electronic messages. Effective 12/1/2021, the mailing envelope for all paper mail sent to inmates at EBRSO Prison must include the following information:

  1. Sender’s complete first and last name. Initials are not acceptable.
  2. Sender’s complete return address.
  3. Inmate’s complete first and last name. Initials are not acceptable.
  4. Inmate’s 10-Digit ID Number.
  5. Full Name of the Correctional Facility. Abbreviations are not acceptable.

Any envelope without complete or missing information as specified above, either for the sender or the offender will be rejected and discarded UNOPENED without exception.
