EBRSO Arrests Couple in Zachary Homicide

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a couple today in the homicide of Robert Noce. Noce’s body was discovered inside a plastic 55-gallon drum on Saturday July 4, 2015 at his residence at 3021 S. Vernon Road.

Jace Crehan (dob 2/10/94) of 26384 Wax Rd. Denham Springs, LA is charged with Second Degree Murder.

Brittany Monk (dob 7/11/97) of 26384 Wax Rd. Denham Springs, LA is charged with Second Degree Murder.

During the course of the investigation Detectives developed Crehan as a suspect. Crehan was taken into custody today and confessed to entering Noce’s home, stabbing and strangling him. He also admitted to placing Noce’s body into the plastic drum. Crehan told detectives that Monk was present during the incident and participated. Monk’s DNA was discovered on evidence collected from the drum with Noce’s body.

Both suspects will be transported to parish prison and booked on the above listed charges.


East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives were contacted by Zachary Police in reference to a homicide investigation at approximately 7:00 Saturday evening in the 3000 block of South Vernon Road.

Robert Noce (DOB 12/19/1967) of 3021 South Vernon Road was found dead on Saturday in his home. Noce was identified using fingerprints this morning. This investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided when available for release.
