Detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred at 11440 Merchant Dr., the location of Southeastern Overhead Door. An unknown person or persons forced entry through the front door of the business. After committing the burglary, the responsible person(s) fled the area. Incident: Armed Robbery

Armed Robbery in the 4100 block of Victoria Dr. On 5-10-2007 at approximately 11:45pm, Deputies responded to a local hospital in reference to an armed robbery of an individual. The victim advised Deputies as they exited a cab and paid the driver, the victim observed a Light Blue car occupied by 4 B/M subjects approaching their location. Several of the B/M's exited the vehicle demanding the victim's money. One of the B/M's struck the victim with an unidentified handgun. The B/M's took the victims wallet containing $ 7.00 dollars in cash. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries. There is no description available at this time on the B/M's. The Light Blue car is described as having square tail lights. Dy. C. Rizan is investigating this incident under file # 07-30552. Incident: Armed Robbery

Armed Robbery at 4500 Sherwood Commons. On 5-10-2007 at approximately 10:45pm, Deputies responded to the prior listed location in reference to an armed robbery of an individual. The victims advised deputies they had just returned to the residence from work when one of the victims unlatched the front door to exit the residence; an unknown W/M subject forced the door open. The W/M subject was armed with a knife and nylon tie wraps. The victims were knocked to the floor and robbed of their wallets containing approximately $ 600.00 dollars in cash. The subject fled the residence on foot in an unknown direction. The victims were not injured. The W/M is described as 6'0" to 6'3" inches tall muscular build weighing approximately 240 pounds wearing a white T-shirt black pants with a white and black bandana over his face. Dy. J. Brignac and Det. W. Stewart investigated this incident under file # 07-30541. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office at 225-389-5000. Incident: Armed Robbery

Armed Robbery at 18189 Highland Rd. location of Sonic Drive-Inn. On 5-9-2007 at approximately 10:15pm, Deputies responded to the prior listed location in reference to an armed robbery. The victim advised responding Deputies that after locking the store for the night, the victim along with two employees's proceeded to their cars to depart the parking lot. The two employee's left first, as the victim entered their vehicle a B/M subject shattered the drivers side glass window and produced a silver semi-auto handgun. The B/M demanded the victim's money, once the subject obtained the money, the subject fled north through the Home Depot parking lot on foot. No injuries were reported during the course of the robbery. The B/M is described as dark complexion 6'0" tall weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with the hood up drawn up around their face and gray sweat pants. The subject got away with an unknown amount of cash. Dy. J. Pickering investigated this incident under file # 07-30302. Incident: Felon in Poss. of a Firearm/Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Felon in Possession of Firearm/Aggravated Assault with a Firearm at 20024 Buck Horn Ave. On 5-9-2007 at approximately 9:26pm, Deputies responded to the 20000 block of Buck Horn Ave near the bridge in reference to an unidentified B/M subject shooting at a passing vehicle. The victim advised responding Deputies, as the victim was passing the bridge to drop off some friends, two B/M subjects were observed standing on the bridge. As the victim passed by the subjects, the subjects pointed their finger at the victim as they drove by. After dropping off their passengers, the victim approached the bridge once again and observed one of the B/M's pull out chrome in color revolver and fire a shot at the victim's vehicle as they passed by. Neither the victim nor their vehicle was struck. The victim observed the subjects get into a vehicle and proceed to an address on Buck Horn. The victim advised Deputies of the subject's location. Deputies apprehended the subject along with recovering a chrome .22-caliber revolver. Deputies arrested Samuel L. Williams 26 year old B/M for the previous listed charges. The subject was processed and booked into the parish prison accordingly. Sgt. N. Bertrand and Cpl. J. Altazin investigated this incident under file # 07-30283.

Incident: Aggravated Burglary, Armed Robbery

Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary and armed robbery that occurred in the 8100 block of Sholar Drive. The victim was at his residence when he responded to someone ringing his doorbell. When the victim answered the door, two white males forced their way into his residence. The suspects, who were armed with a hammer and baseball bat, then robbed the victim of his belongings. During the robbery, the victim was able to arm himself with a handgun and force the suspects to flee.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1. White male, approximately 6' tall, approximately 200lbs, black hair, wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

Suspect #2. White male, approximately 5'10" tall, approximately 200lbs, blonde hair, wearing a yellow shirt.

Both suspects are believed to be approximately eighteen to twenty two years of age. They were last seen fleeing the area on foot. Persons with information regarding this investigation are asked to call 389-5000.
