Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 5310 North Flannery Rd., the location of Circle K store. At approximately 10:15pm, an unknown black male entered the store armed with a handgun. The suspect robbed the clerk and then fled the area. The suspect was a black male who was wearing a dark colored sweater with tan or brown sleeves and the letter "B" on the front, a yellow or tan hat and dark jeans. At the time of the robbery, the suspect's face was concealed by a camouflage bandanna. Persons with information regarding this investigation are asked to call 389-5000.

Detectives are investigating an accidental shooting that occurred in the 5500 block of Cortez Dr. The victim was driving through Sharron Hills Subdivision when he stopped to talk to an acquaintance. While talking, the acquaintance produced a handgun and was showing it to the victim. The handgun discharged striking the victim once. The victim is being treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury.

Detectives have identified the acquaintance as Terrell Cooks, B/M, 18yoa. Mr. Cooks was placed under arrest and charged with illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities and negligent injuring.

Between 05/16/06 and 03/14/07, Dameon Johnice (B/M, 29 years old) and Lakisha Hammett (B/F, 32 years old) stole $88,992.00 from All Star Hyundai where they were employed.

The suspects stole the money by insisting that new customers pay cash for their vehicle down payments, then they would keep the cash instead of turning it over to All Star Automotive. In some instances, the employees forged worthless checks in the customer's names and caused IWC warrants to be issued for the customers after the checks were turned over to the District Attorney's Office for collection.

Dameon Johnice was arrested for Theft, Identity Theft, Forgery, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft. Lakisha Hammett is still wanted by the Sheriff's Office for the same charges.
