Armed Robbery at 5212 Everett. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 7:46pm, the victim was standing near their vehicle when they were approached by a b/m approximately 18-22 years of age 6'1" inches tall approximately 160 pounds slim build dark skin with a red bandana covering their face wearing a white T-shirt black pants and shoes armed with a handgun demanded the victims money. The b/m took the victims MP3 player, wallet and cell phone. The b/m ran off on foot toward Russell. The victim was not injured. Detective Welborn is investigating this incident under file # 06-81519. Armed Robbery at 5223 Everett. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 7:54pm, the victim was sitting in their vehicle when a b/m subject opened the passenger side door armed with a handgun and demanded the victims money. During this time, another b/m armed with a handgun opened the driver's side door taking the victim's wallet containing credit cards and $ 100.00 dollars in cash. The b/m's fled the area on foot. The first subject is described as a dark complexion b/m 20 to 30 years of age with silver or gold teeth wearing a grey sweatshirt. The second b/m was also had a dark complexion 20 to 30 years of age wearing a grey sweatshirt. No injuries were reported. Armed Robbery at 5141 Everett. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 7:47pm, the victim had exited their vehicle when they were approached by two b/m's. The b/m's took the victims purse and fled the area in a Red Sports car with a spoiler on the back. The first b/m was described as 6'0" tall dark complexion medium build early 20's wearing a grey ski mask grey jacket and dark pants. The second b/m was described as 5'9" inches tall medium build early 20's wearing a grey jacket with hood. The victim was not injured. Armed Robbery at 7024 Mickens Rd. location of Express Mini Mart. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 6:23pm, the victim exited the store and was approached by four b/m's. One of the b/m's was armed with a handgun; the b/m's robbed the victim of $ 60.00 dollars in cash and the items that the victim purchased from the store. The b/m's fled the area on foot, last seen running on Caprice toward Glen Oaks High School. Two of the subjects were described as wearing a tan jacket with brown sleeves and dreadlock style hair. The subject armed with the handgun was described as a b/m wearing a black jacket with patches sweater cap and blue jeans. No description was provided on the remaining two subjects. Burglary at 1765 O'Neal location of Payless Super Storage. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 3:00pm, Deputies were notified by a representative of the business that several vehicles at the storage center were broken into. A black RV (Bus) was entered through the main door by way of a section of broken glass. Several portable radios', computers, scanners a 42-inch plasma television and other electronic devices were stolen from the vehicle. Total value of the items was estimated to be $ 15,000.00 to $20,000.00 dollars. Detective Pitre and Welborn investigated this incident under file # 06-81513.

Deputies also investigated another burglary at the storage center involving a Ford RV. Entry into the RV was made through the side door, which was pried, open. A large inverter and a DVD player were taken. Deputy Fagot investigated this incident under file # 06-81415. Armed Robbery at 7800 Meadow Dr. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 3:40pm, Deputies were dispatched to the prior listed location in reference to an armed robbery. The victim a w/m juvenile was enroute from school when the juvenile was approached by a b/m wearing a black ski type mask, black sweat shirt, black pants, black shoes, armed with a black handgun took the juveniles black and blue book bag. Attempted Robbery at 9771 Jefferson Hwy. location of Jefferson Shadows Apts. On 12-7-2006 at approximately 12:53am, the victim was outside of their apt. at their vehicle when the victim was approached by a w/m approximately 6'0" tall slim build wearing a green hat green striped shirt and blue jeans approached the victim demanding the victims money. The victim fled from the robber eventually setting off their car alarm. The w/m fled the area without taking anything. The victim did not see a weapon. The victim was not injured. Cpl. K. Simple Robbery at 6401 Bluebonnet location of Mall of Louisiana. On 12-6-2006 at approximately 7:45pm, a b/m mid to late 20's 6'0" tall wearing a white cap grey hooded sweat shirt black pants with white stripe running down the side wearing sunglasses entered the Bailey Banks and Biddle Jewelry store looking at diamond rings. The b/m placed a one and a half carat diamond solitare ring on his finger and asked the salesperson to do the same. The b/m compared the rings, eventually placing both rings on the salespersons fingers. The b/m grabbed the salespersons hand pulled both rings off of the sales persons hand and fled the store. The rings were diamond solitaires with gold bands with a total weight of one and a half carats. The rings were valued at $13,600.00 each. Deputy C. On 12/5/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary and Narcotics Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Mall City area. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Henry Reddick - (Male 17) - Arrested for Loitering, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting an Officer.

2. Raymond Robins - (Male 19) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Loitering.

3. Felicia Dolanda Gayton - (Female 41) - Arrested for P.W.I.T.D. Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drinking in Public, Resisting an Officer (warrant) and Theft (warrant).

Deputies seized approx. 11.3 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $1,130.00. Deputies also seized approx. 11.9 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $59.50.

Detectives with the Financial Crimes Division arrested Adrianna White for Computer Fraud, Forgery (97 counts), and Theft ($183,444.87). White had been embezzling money from her employer for approximately 2 years. Over the duration of her employment, White issued 97 checks to herself, forged her employer's signature, then deposited the checks into her bank account.

On 12/1/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team conducted criminal patrols in the Glen Oaks area. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Barry Wayne Hirstius - (Male 39) - Arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (crack pipe)and No Light on License Plate.

2. Marshall Jackson - (Male 24) Arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Open Container, No Seatbelt and No Driver's License

3. Shedrick Pearson - (Male 26) - Cited for Driving Under Suspension.

4. Tricia Bailey - (Female 33) - Cited for No Driver's License and No Child Restraint.

5. Keandre Collins - (Male 19) - Cited for No Light on License Plate.

Deputies seized approx. 14.5 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $1,450.00 and approx. 33.0 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $165.00.
