On June 02, 2006, between the hours of 11am and 11pm, The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office conducted criminal patrols of the Gardere Area resulting in several arrests for both criminal and traffic offenses.

The following suspects were arrested for the following offenses:

• Christopher Hill (Male 23) was arrested for Poss Marijuana, Poss Cocaine, Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

• Carl D. Adams (Male 26) was arrested for Drinking in Public, Fugitive Probation and Parole, No Driver's License, No License Plate.

• Adrian C. Odom (Male 20) was arrested for Poss of Marijuana.

• Terry D Stewart (Male 26) was arrested for No Brake Lights, No DL, Open Container Violation.

• Henry Tillis (Male 21) was arrested for Poss Marijuana, Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with CDS.

• Reginald Knight (Male 22) was arrested for Loitering, Poss Marijuana

• Michael Bates (Male 28) was arrested for Loitering, Poss Marijuana

• Markei White (Male 29) was arrested for Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana, Poss Cocaine, Illegal carrying of a Weapon with CDS, Open Container Violation, Poss Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

• Joseph Ponder (Male 20) was arrested for Loitering.

• Janice Goings (Female 37) was arrested for Resisting an Officer and Profanity.

• Stephanie Williams (Female 21) was arrested for Resisting an Officer, Battery of a Police Officer, and Profanity.

• Kendrick Thomas (Male 20) was arrested for Poss Marijuana and No Seatbelt.

Three Juveniles were also arrested for Loitering and traffic offenses.

Deputies seized the following items: one Smith and Wesson 357 cal. Magnum, one Taurus 9mm semi-auto, one Davis Industries 380 cal. Semi-auto, one Smith and Wesson 40 cal semi-auto, and one Ithaca 20 gauge Shotgun.

Deputies also seized 166.2 Grams of Marijuana with a street value of about $831.00 and 28.5 grams of Cocaine with a street value of about $2,850.00 as well as $277 in cash.

Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office Scat Team, Narcotics Division, ARAB Division, Financial Crimes Division, and Deputies from the Burbank Substation participated in this action.

6885 Siegen Lane, the parking lot of the Target Store was the location of an armed robbery. A twenty three year old female left the store and was walking to her vehicle. As the victim approached her vehicle, a B/M subject who was armed with a small handgun approached her and demanded her purse. The suspect fled the area after receiving the purse. The suspect was last seen entering an older model four-door Buick. The vehicle was occupied by at least two additional B/M subjects. The three subjects were last seen driving towards Siegen Lane. The suspect is described as follows.

Black Male, approximately 5'7" tall, unshaven, short hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue colored pants. Detective Alfred of the ARAB section is investigating the robbery under file # 06-35468.

ON MAY 5, 2006, N2 MOTORSPORTS LOCATED AT 9828 BLUBONNET SUIT #K, WAS BURGLARIZED AND TWO MOTORCYCLES WERE STOLEN FROM THE STORE. ON MAY 30, 2006, CPL. TRAVIS WAS CONTACTED BY THE MANAGER OF N2 MOTORSPORTS AND SUPPLIED INFORMATION THAT THROUGH INVESTIGATION BY DETECTIVES RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF TRAPPER JOHNSON (B/M, DOB:9/30/82) 8215 SKYSAIL, APT. "A", WHO WAS CHARGED WITH ILLEGAL POSSESION OF STOLEN THINGS. ONE OF THE STOLEN MOTORCYCLES WAS RECOVERED. THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINING.

Traffic Homicide investigators are investigating a traffic fatality which occurred in the 9900 block of Banway Drive. At 10:24 EBRSO received reports of a motorcycle wreck at the listed location. Upon arrival, investigators found a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle lying off the roadway. It appears that the operator of the motorcycle left the roadway for some reason and struck a culvert. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is identified as Steven Corey Buhler, W/M, 25yoa, of 14678 Frenchtown Rd, Greenwell Springs La. The cause of the wreck is under investigation. Traffic Homicide investigators Sgt. Bodin and Deputy Pelletier are investigating the fatality under file # 06-35493

An armed robbery occurred at 11:23pm, in the 9900 block of Burbank Dr. The robbery occurred as the victim who is a resident of a nearby apartment complex was outside attempting to use his phone. The victim was approached by three B/M subjects, one of which was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded that the victim give them his personal belongings. The suspects were last seen leaving the area on foot. The suspects were described as B/Ms, all wearing white shirts with dark colored pants. Detective Alfred ARAB is investigating the robbery under file # 06-35503. Persons with information are asked to call 389-5000.

Armed robbery in the 9000 block of Burbank. The victim was vacuuming his vehicle when he was approached by 2 b/m subjects. One of the subjects was armed with a small handgun. The subjects took the victims money and left his wallet. The subjects were wearing white tee-shirts and blue jeans with white tennis shoes. One b/m is approximately 17 years of age with short hair. The second b/m is approximately 20 to 22 years of age with braided hair and a thin mustache. The victim was not injured. Det. Hill armed robbery investigating case under file # 06-35233.

The victim was standing outside smoking a cigarette at midnight when approached by 3 b/m subjects. One of the subjects was armed with a black semi-auto handgun. The victim was struck by one of the subjects with an unknown object. The victim had his cell phone and passport stolen. No injuries reported. One of the b/m's had short braided hair. The subjects fled on foot toward Bayou Fountain. Det. Hill armed robbery division is investigating the incident under file # 06-35008.
