Incident: Simple burglary of a religious building

Deputies are investigating a burglary that occurred at 6538 Mickens Rd., the location of Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church. An unknown person or persons forced entry into the church between 10/12/2006 and 10/14/2006 and committed the burglary. The burglary was discovered on 10/14/2006 and reported. Incident: Armed Robbery

Deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 12000 Plank Rd. At 6:00am, the victim was washing his 1998 Ford F-150 La. license plate V212196, when he was approached by a black male armed with a handgun. The victim was robbed of his personal belongings with the suspect fleeing in the victim's truck. The suspect is described as a black male having a dark complexion and a low cut hair style. Incident: Aggravated Battery

Detectives are currently investigating an aggravated battery that occurred at 14506 Scenic Highway. The victim was traveling in his vehicle when he observed a female whom he believed was his acquaintance. The female, who was driving a white Dodge Neon, stopped on the side of the highway when the victim flashed his lights at her. Subsequently, he realized he was mistaken as to her identity. Meanwhile, an unknown black male driving white Ford Taurus stopped and began to argue with the female. When the victim asked the black male to calm down, the black male confronted him with a handgun. The victim and suspect struggled over control of the weapon. The suspect remained in control of the weapon and advised the victim to leave. As the victim turned to walk away, he was shot once suffering a minor wound. Detectives ask that persons with information regarding this investigation call 389-5000.

Incident: Narcotics Arrest and Traffic Enforcement

On 10/12/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T.Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary and Narcotic Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Mall City and Glen Oaks areas. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Juvenile - (Male 16) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Cocaine.

2. Joe Simon - (Male 27) - Cited for No Light on License Plate.

3. Kenneth Payne - (Male 28) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana, No Light on License Plate and Expired Driver's License.

4. Randy Bell - (Male 21) - Arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (Bench Warrant).

5. Lil Ceaser Queen - (Male 26) - Arrested for Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling (Bench Warrant), No Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker (Warrant) and No Insurance (Warrant).

Deputies seized approx. 25.5 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $127.50 . Deputies also seized approx. 12.4 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $1,240.00.

Incident: Narcotics Arrest and Weapons Violations

Incident Date: 10-11-2006

On 10/11/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T.Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary and Detective Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Gardere and Cherry Hill/Southpark areas. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Jason Finister - (Male 21) - Arrested for Loitering, Possession of Marijuana and Resisting an Officer.

2. Jermey Dillion - (Male 23) - Arrested for Possession of a Firearm w/ Obliterated Serial Number, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Illegal Carrying of a Weapon, Resisting an Officer and Loitering.

3. Jamar Kimble - (Male 19) - Arrested for Probation Violation.

Deputies seized approx. 12.6 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $63.00. Deputies also seized one .40 caliber Smith & Wesson Hi- Point semi-automatic handgun with a street value of $300.00.

On 10/9/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary, Detective and Narcotics Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Glen Oaks and Mall City areas. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Marcus Wendell Clayton - (Male 30) - Arrested for Possession of Schedule II and Possession of Marijuana.

2. Gregory Eames - (Male 23) - Arrested for Possession of a Firearm with CDS, Possession of Marijuana, Expired Inspection Sticker (bench warrant) and No Driver's License on Person (bench warrant).

3. Leslie Eames - (Male 20) - Arrested for P.W.I.T.D. Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine and Disturbing the Peace by Amplified Device.

4. Zaccheda Smith - (Female 21) - Arrested for Possession of Schedule I (Ecstasy).

5. David Darnell Green - (Male 18) - Arrested for Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (Affidavit Warrant) and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile (Affidavit Warrant).

6. Clifton Hills Jr. - (Male 19) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Failure to Signal Turn.

7. Jeremy Lewis - (Male 18) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

8. Nathaniel Knighten - (Male 19) - Arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Loitering.

Deputies seized $14,340.00 in U.S. Currency , approx. 29.7 grams of suspected crack cocaine with a street value of $2,970.00 , approx. 47.0 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $235.00 , 21 suspected Ecstasy pills with a street value of $420.00 , and one Tylenol w/ Codeine pill with a street value of $10.00. Deputies also seized one Hi-Point .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun with a street value of $300.00.

Incident: Attempted Burglary

Attempted Burglary at 6501 Bluebonnet location of Sears at the Mall of Louisiana. On 10-8-2006 at approximately 9:19pm, Dy. Genola and Evans responded to an alarm at the business. Dy's observed the rollup door leading to the warehouse and package pickup area was partially open. Deputies were unable to locate anyone in the building or area. A store representative was unable to verify at this time whether anyone had entered the building or if any items were missing. Dy. Genola and Evans investigated this incident under file # 06-67825. Burglary at 11210 Airline Hwy. location of Ricky Smith Audio. On 10-8-2006 at approximately 9:54pm, Dy. K. Webb responded to an alarm at the prior listed business. Dy. Webb observed an unknown vehicle had rammed the front doors to the store. A representative from the store advised that a number of speakers were taken from a display near the door, a complete list of stolen items were not available at this time. Dy. Webb and Det. Burglary at 11720 Airline Hwy. location of Teche Electric Supply Inc.. On 10-7-2006 at approximately 9:15pm, Deputies responded to the prior listed business in reference to an alarm. Dy. D. Ferris upon arrival observed that the rear door to the building had been pried open. Deputies were unable to locate anyone at the business. A representative from the company advised that nothing appeared to be missing from the business at this time. Dy. Ferris is investigating this incident under file # 06-67601.
