Incident: Aggravated 2nd. Degree Battery and Domestic Abuse Battery

Aggravated 2nd Degree Battery and Domestic Abuse Battery at 7185 Greenwell St. Lot 18. On 10-6-2006 at approximately 10:18pm, Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at this address. Dy. Luckett began his investigation and noted the following events. Two victim's were at the listed address to gather personal belongings when the husband of one of the victims began choking the victim inside the residence. The accused, after choking the first victim, entered a room in the trailer returned with an unknown object and began to strike the second victim with the unknown object. The victim was taken to a local hospital where they were treated for cuts to the arm along with numerous bruises and lacerations to their facial area. The wounds are non-life threatening. Dy. Luckett arrested Robert Kelly b/m 38 years of age for the prior listed charges. The accused was charged and booked into the parish prison by Dy. Luckett under file # 06-67351.

Incident: Narcotics Arrest, Weapon Violations and Traffic Enforcement

On 10/6/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary, Detective and Narcotics Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Gardere, Southpark and Mall City areas. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Maurice Williams - (Male 20) - Arrested for Illegal Carrying of a Firearm, Violation of a Protective Order, Resisting an Officer and Running a Stop Sign.

2. Byron Green - (Male 27) - Arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Loitering.

3. Madison Robinson - (Male 22) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and No Light on License Plate.

4. Lawrence Martin - (Male 22) - Arrested for P.W.I.T.D. Ecstasy and Possession of Marijuana.

5. Erik Stoker - (Male 34) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and No License Plate.

6. Freddie Williams - (Male 39) - Arrested as a fugitive through B.R.P.D.( Unauthorized Entry and Simple Robbery).

7. Tyree Nicholas - (Male 21) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Loitering.

8. Jacqueline Davis - (Female 28) - Arrested for Loitering.

Deputies seized one Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver with a street value of $500.00. Deputies seized approx. 28.7 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $2,870.00. Deputies also seized approx. 59.1 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $295.50. Deputies also seized 42 suspected Ecstasy pills with a street value of $840.00.

Incident: Armed Robbery

Detectives are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Subway located at 9618 Jefferson Hwy. At approximately 9:30pm this date, the employees of the Subway allowed a black female into the business. Once inside the business, the suspect produced a handgun and committed the robbery. After the robbery, the suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as follows: black female, approximately 5'6" in height, slim build, braces on her teeth, wearing what appeared to be a multi colored wig, all black clothing and large oval shaped sunglasses. On 10/3/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary, Narcotics and Detective Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Glen Oaks area. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Darryl Watson - (Male 20) - Arrested for Open Container, Possession of Marijuana and Littering.

2. Justin Franklin - (Male 19) - Arrested for Open Container.

3. Anthony Jones - (Male 23) - Arrested for No Seatbelt, Possession of Marijuana and Drinking in a Motor Vehicle.

4. Tony Bady - (Male 39) - Arrested for Drinking in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana.

5. Tamika Wellington - (Female 31) - Cited for No Light on License Plate, One Brakelight Only and One Taillight Only.

6. Derek Jones - (Male 30) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

7. Aaron Wade - (Male 35) - Cited for No Turn Signal.

8. Jermaine Franklin - (Male 26) - Arrested for Possession of Cocaine (bench warrant).

9. Allen Rice - (Male 26) - Cited for No Seatbelt, No Turn Signal and No Driver's License.

Deputies seized approx. 44.6 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $223.00.

Incident: Warrant Arrest and Traffic Enforcement

Incident Date: 10-2-2006

On 10/2/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T.Team, Armed Robbery and Burglary and Detective Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Gardere Lane and Orleans areas. Deputies made the following arrests:

1. Alfred Steven Wicks - (Male 29) - Arrested for Armed Robbery (Affidavit Warrant), Carjacking (Affidavit Warrant), Drinking in a Motor Vehicle and Speeding in a School Zone (Bench Warrant).

2. Demarcus Carney - (Male 25) - Arrested for Drinking in Public.

3. William Mabary - (Male 24) - Cited for Failure to Signal Turn.

4. Eric Brown - (Male 21) - Cited for Improper Lane Usage.

5. Brandon Deamer - (Male 18) - Cited for No Seatbelt.

6. Carolyn Morgan - (Male 49) - Running a Red Light.

Incident: Armed Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and False Imprisonment With Weapon

Armed Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and False Imprisonment with a Dangerous Weapon at 3411 O'Neal Lane. On 10-2-2006 at approximately 10:22pm, Deputies responded to the prior listed address in reference to an Armed Robbery. During the course of Deputies investigation, Deputies learned that the victim pulled up to their residence and observed two b/m's standing nearby. The victim waited for the subjects to leave the area. The victim exited the vehicle and approached the door to their residence, at this point the two b/m's appeared forcing the victim inside of the residence. The subjects went through the victim's residence and car before fleeing the area. The subjects took the victims wallet, keys and assorted electronic equipment. The victim was not injured. Deputies along with Detective's from armed robbery and burglary division began interviewing witnesses and patrolling the area for suspects. Deputies were looking for two b/m's wearing black clothing one armed with a handgun the other a knife. During the course of the investigation, Deputies arrested a 16-yoa b/m juvenile for his participation in the crime. Several items that were stolen from the victim were recovered. The juvenile was charged and booked on the prior listed charges. Deputies are still looking for the second suspect involved in this crime. Dy. A. Genola and Cpl. Gallo are investigating this incident under file # 06-66347. Incident: Armed Robbery

Armed Robbery in the 10500 block of Airline Hwy. location of Airline Carwash. On 10-2-2006 at approximately 8:40pm, deputies responded to the prior listed address in reference to an armed robbery of an individual. Deputies were advised by the victim, while washing their vehicle, a b/m approached the victim and demanded their wallet. The victim complied turning over his wallet containing approximately $ 20.00 dollars in cash. The b/m fled north on foot on Airline Hwy. The victim was not injured. The subject is described as a b/m with a short hair cut approximately 5'8" inches tall wearing a black T-shirt and shorts. The subject was armed with a chrome semi-auto handgun. Dy. Ferris and Cpl. Incident: Armed Robbery

Detectives are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the 3000 block of Oneal Lane. The victim was sitting in his vehicle outside of his residence when he was approached by four black males. As the black males approached they pulled their shirts up around their faces to conceal their identity. One of the black males produced a handgun and demanded the victim's personal belongings. After committing the robbery, the suspects fled the area on foot. The suspects are described as follows: All had a dark complexion, all had short hair, all had slim builds, and one was approximately 6' in height, and three were approximately 5'6" in height. Each wore a baseball style caps, dark jeans or long shorts and tan shirts. Persons with information regarding this investigation are asked to call 389-5000.
