On 9/28/06, Deputies with the S.C.A.T. Team, Narcotics and Armed Robbery/Burglary Divisions conducted criminal patrols in the Glen Oaks and Gardere areas. Deputies made the following arrests and seizures:

1. Cedric Banks - (Male 29) - Cited for No Seatbelt.

2. John Banks Jr. - (Male 24) - Arrested for Drinking in a Motor Vehicle.

3. Antonius Jones - (Male 18) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

4. Onya Terrell - (Male 20) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana and No Light on License Plate.

5. Derrick Scott - (Male 40) - Arrested for Loitering.

6. Eric Scott - (Male 18) - Arrested for Loitering and Resisting an Officer.

7. Marcus Scott - (Male 42) - Arrested for Loitering.

8. Sedrick James - (Male 42) - Arrested for Loitering, Drinking in Public and Resisting an Officer.

Deputies seized approx. 38.7 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $193.50.

1. Arthur Robertson - (Male 17) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana, No Insurance, Expired Inspection Sticker and No Seatbelt.

2. Arrison Fisher - (Female 26) - Cited for 2 Cts. Child Restraint Violation and No Light on License Plate.

3. Carl Hilton - (Male 29) - Cited for Improper Equipment and No Driver's License on Person.

4. Antoine Fisher - (Male 22) - Arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

5. Ryan Bravata - (Male 21) - Cited for Running a Stop Sign, No Light on License Plate and Failure to Secure Registration.

6. Clayton Fiveash - (Male 23) - Cited for No Seatbelt and No Driver's License.

7. Earnest Walker - (Male 49) - Arrested for Loitering and Illegal Carrying of a Weapon.

8. Sammie Porter - (Male 30) - Arrested for Loitering and Possession of Marijuana.

Deputies seized approx. 50.1 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of approx. $250.50.

Deputies also seized one Charier Arms .38 caliber revolver with a street value of $200.00.

On September 26,2006, ARAB detectives arrested a juvenile for the simple robbery of a juvenile in the Greenwell Village Mobile Homes, 7185 Greenwell st., on 8/11/2006. The juvenile was identified in a photographic lineup by the victim on 9/26/2006. The juvenile was booked in juvenile detention on 9/26/2006.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2006, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division concluded an investigation relative to the distribution of narcotics within East Baton Rouge Parish. Narcotics detectives along with the SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 16000 Block of S. Amite Drive, Baton Rouge, LA. A search of the residence revealed two marijuana plants, approximately 215 grams of marijuana, 5 dosage units of ecstacy, 1 gram of cocaine, a .380 caliber semi automatic handgun, and a stolen NCI SKS 7.62 Assault rifle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of James Anthony Scott(B/M, dob 07/05/1978) for PWITD marijuana, PWITD MDMA (ecstacy), Illegal Carrying of a firearm, Possession of a stolen firearm, Possession of cocaine, and cultivation of marijuana.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2006, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division concluded an investigation relative to the distribution of marijuana within East Baton Rouge Parish. Narcotics detectives along with the SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 6700 block of Cezanne Street, Baton Rouge, LA. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 100 grams of marijuana and $150.00 of drug proceeds. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Harold Edward Combre (B/M, dob 01/17/1967) for Possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

At approximately 11:30pm this date a burglary occurred at 979 Oneal Lane, the location of B&D Electric Co. An unknown person or persons forced entry into the business and committed the burglary. The person or persons responsible fled the area prior to the arrival of deputies. Persons with information regarding this investigation are asked to call 389-5000.

Detectives are investigating a purse snatching that occurred at 12881 Perkins Rd., the location of Walgreens Drug Store. The victim was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she was approached by a white Honda Accord occupied by at least three black males. One of the black males exited the vehicle, approached and took her purse. The victim attempted to prevent the suspect from taking her purse and was thrown to the ground. The black male returned to the Honda and left the area. The suspect is described as follows: black male, fifteen to sixteen years of age, wearing a blue and white jersey and a blue and white bandanna. Detectives are investigating a purse snatching that occurred at 5555 Burbank, the location of Winn Dixie. The victim was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she was approached by a white Honda Accord occupied by at least three black males. One of the black males exited the vehicle, approached and took her purse. The black male returned to the Honda and left the area. The suspect is described as follows: black male, fifteen to sixteen years of age, wearing a blue and white jersey and a blue and white bandanna. Attempt 1st Degree Murder and Armed Robbery at 10595 Airline Hwy. location of Domino's Pizza. On 9-25-2006 at approximately 12:55am, Dy. Webb responded to the prior listed location in reference to an armed robbery. The victim was preparing to leave the parking lot of Domino's when a masked w/m armed with a handgun approached the victim as they were preparing to leave from the south side of the store near Alco. The victim began backing out of the parking lot when the subject fired a round from the handgun shattering the victim's window. The suspect demanded the money from the victim. The suspect took the money fleeing north on foot toward Jeffrey St. The suspect took approximately $ 1,700.00 dollars in cash and checks. The victim was not injured. Deputies are looking for a w/m 5'8" inches tall approximately 210 pounds with green eyes wearing a white T-shirt black shorts black mask with a white hat. Dy. J. Webb and Sgt. M. Attempted Armed Robbery at 7185 Greenwell St. location of Greenwell Village Mobile Homes. On 9-24-2006 at approximately 9:40pm, Deputies responded to the report of an attempted robbery at the mobile home park. The victim advised Deputies they went to the front door in response to a knock at the door. The victim answered the door and was met by a b/m approximately 17 years of age holding a small semi-auto handgun. The b/m asked the victim for their money, the victim advised the b/m that they would have to look for some. The b/m was frightened away and fled the trailer on foot heading toward the rear of the trailer park. No injuries or items were taken. The b/m is described as 17 years of age wearing black baggie pants, black shirt, black hat and a large necklace.
