Incident: 9 cts. S/ Burglary, 9 cts. Felony Theft, 9 cts. S/Crim.Damage To a Coin Device
For the past three months, Det's from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriffs Office Armed Robbery and Burglary Division have been conducting an investigation regarding several car wash burglaries occurring throughout East Baton Rouge Parish. It was determined by investigating Det's, after viewing a video surveillance tape retrieved from one of the car washes, that the perpetrators occupied a white in color Ford Truck with damage to the rear fender, during the time of the burglary.
On 11-01-2006, Sgt. David Grunewald executed a traffic stop on a white Ford truck which apparently displayed a license plate that did not belong on the truck. The truck also had visual damage to the rear fender. The driver was identified as one Gregory Talley, W/M, DOB: 01-25-1965, of 804 W. Home St., Vandalia, Mo., After the traffic stop, Det's Davis, Alfred, Strickland, Dipuma, and Pitre continued their investigation which subsequently led to the arrest of Talley. Talley was arrested for 9 cts. Simple Burglary, 9 cts. Felony Theft, 9 cts. Simple Criminal Damage To a Coin Operated Device. Det's were able to clear the following File#'s, 06-45099, 06-61313, 06-67013, 06-67973, 06-68077, 06-70038, 06-71230, 06-71546, 06-72249. Talley was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. The investigation is continuing with more arrests expected.
