Deputies are investigating a second degree kidnapping that occurred at 13435 Hooper Road, the location of Circle K. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of the gas pumps and entered the store. Upon returning to the vehicle, the victim was confronted by a black male who had entered the vehicle. The suspect produced a handgun and ordered the victim to drive. After traveling through Livingston Parish, the suspect ordered the victim to stop the vehicle. The suspect then exited the vehicle and fled. The victim believes that the suspect fled the vehicle in a remote area of St. Helena Parish. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6' tall, weighing approximately 180-190lbs, wearing blue work pants and a white and purple striped shirt.
