Shooting in the 7000 block of Poinsettia. On 9-23-2006 at approximately 2:45am, Deputies responded to a local hospital in reference to a 28 year old b/m suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim advised Deputies that he was walking in the area of Flag and Poinsettia St. when a Green in color two door Mercury Cougar followed by an unidentified red vehicle passed him by, shortly thereafter the victim heard five gunshots ring out. The victim fled the area after hearing the shots and realizing he was wounded. The victim could not tell if the gunshots came from one of the two vehicles or from someone in the neighbor hood.
