At 0035 hrs. of Sunday, September 17, 2006, two (2) black males, armed with a dark colored revolver, robbed a female at gunpoint on the parking lot of the Chevron Station, 12924 Coursey Blvd. The two then fled in a dark blue, '94 Honda Civic. It might be noted that robberies involving individuals of similar description were currently under investigation by the Baton Rouge City Police, those robberies having occurred in the same general area (Sherwood Forest Blvd. near Coursey and Stumberg Lane), earlier in the evening.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office Armed Robbery Detectives, assisted by Sheriff's Office Uniformed Patrol personnel, first located the vehicle as it was proceeding in the area of Bluebonnet and Jefferson Hwy. The vehicle was subsequently stopped on Coursey Blvd., just east of Sherwood Forest Blvd.

Persons inside the vehicle who were placed under arrest were identified as follows :

1) Ron Hall, black male, DOB: 3/10/88 of 8301 Ned Ave., Baton Rouge, La.

2) Walden Dowell, black male, DOB: 5/01/88 of 1753 Starwood Ct., Baton Rouge, La.

3) Tyrice Harvey, black male, DOB: 12/01/85 of 8855 Coy Ave. apt. 3, Baton Rouge, La.

Hall and Dowell were both charged with Armed Robbery. Harvey was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Resisting an Officer.

A fourth person was also arrested. That person was identified as the clerk of the Chevron Station, identified as Prince Howard, black male, DOB: 8/21/83 of 8393 W. Wadsworth Ave. Baton Rouge, La., who was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. Howard knew Ron Hall from Hall working at a nearby business and the two residing in the same area. Following the robbery on Stumberg Ln.(investigated by BRPD), Hall and Dowell stopped by the Chevron Station at which time they spoke with Howard who was working at the station. Howard suggested they rob customers at his station as it would be easy and also suggested that they rob a business on Highland Rd. where Howard had previously worked, noting that the clerk there would be easy to rob.

Baton Rouge City Police Armed Robbery Detectives assisted in the investigation and additionally charged Hall and Dowell for their involvement in the earlier robberies.

All of the suspects were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
