Incident: Shooting
On 8-16-2006 at approximately 5:00 pm, Deputies responded to the area of 1947 Mariner in reference to shots being fired. Deputies encountered two gunshot victims at the prior mentioned location. A b/f 31 years of age and a b/m 24 years of age each suffering from a gunshot wound were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their wounds. The wounds were non-life threatening. The incident appears to have stemmed from a verbal argument between the male victim and two b/m subjects out near the victims garbage bin. One of the b/m's pulled a black in color handgun and fired several shots in the direction of the victim and the apartment building. The rounds struck the building and the victims. The subjects firing the shots are described as follows: Black male wearing a black and white camo shirt with black shorts and a black baseball cap. The second b/m was wearing a light colored striped shirt and black dreadlocks with gold twist.
