Stabbing in the 6000 block of Starboard. On 7-15-2006 at approximately 9:26 am, three subjects were riding in a vehicle in the area of Starboard and GSRI, the subjects began arguing. Arvin Jones, 42 year old b/m, exited the backseat of the vehicle and approached the victim who was a passenger riding in the front seat. Jones hit the victim with a drinking glass and proceeded to use the broken glass to cut the victim on the arm. The victim was taken to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition. Jones was treated for injuries he received during the fight at a local hospital. Jones was released and booked into the parish prison for aggravated 2nd. Degree battery. Dy. C. Jones and Cpl.
