Incident: Robbery
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is looking for two black males, who entered the Jiffy Mart Gas Station located at 12924 Coursey Blvd., last night at around 10:19 p.m. and stole approximately $4,710 worth of cigarettes.
The store clerk said that the subjects entered the business and placed a note on the door and locked the door. Then both subjects approached the store clerk with black plastic bags wrapped around their hands as though they possibly had weapons. One of the assailants told the store clerk to move from behind the counter and both subjects proceeded behind the counter and placed several cartons of cigarettes into black plastic bags that they had in their possession when they entered the business. After taking the carton of cigarettes both subjects exited the store and fled the scene on foot toward Stumberg Drive.
One subject was described as a black male, light/medium brown complexion, short hair, medium build, wearing a blue, white and green striped polo style shirt and blue jeans. The second subject is a black male, dark complexion, short hair, gold teeth, medium build, wearing a black, white and grey striped polo style shirt and black Dickies pants. Both subjects appear to be in their mid-twenties.

Detectives received a tip from an individual who had seen the photos that were shown on News release of the two perpetrators who had robbed the Jiffy Mart, 12924 Coursey Blvd. Using this information, Detectives positively identified one of the perpetrators as Aaron Dewayne Hickman, B/M, DOB: 2/23/1987. Detectives obtained an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Hickman. Hickman remains at large.
