Vehicle fatality at 16533 Stoney Point Birch. On 7-1-2006, at approximately 1:15am, deputies responded to an overturned vehicle at the prior listed location. Four occupants were riding in a red Chevrolet pickup truck when the accident occurred. Two of the occupants were transported to local hospitals for moderate injuries. The third occupant remained at the scene, was treated for minor injuries and released. The driver of the vehicle, a w/m, 24 years of age was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased was not revealed pending notification of next of kin. Sgt. D. Smith, Deputies Pelletier and Lane with the Traffic Homicide Team are investigating the accident.
