EBRSO Looking For Man Attempting To Steal Formula

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a man seen attempting to steal baby formula from the Walmart located at 3132 College Drive on August 16, 2014.

According to reports, the suspect was seen on surveillance loading a shopping cart with multiple cartons of baby formula with a value of $596.46. The unknown black male was dressed in the same clothing that is worn by Wal-Mart cart pushing employees (khaki pants, navy shirt, and traffic vest). He then exited the store through the General Merchandise entry/exit without paying for the baby formula. Deputies attempted to stop the man, at which time he left the shopping cart at the front of the store and fled the scene on foot crossing College Drive. After recovering the stolen merchandise, asset protection employees advised Deputies that the same individual attempted to steal multiple cartons of baby formula from another store in the same area shortly before he came to Wal-Mart.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing khaki pants and a navy blue shirt.
