Sheriff's Office Looking For Woman Taken By Ex-Boyfriend

Baton Rouge, La.-- East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman taken earlier today by her ex-boyfriend, after he broke into her home early this morning and held the woman, her children and cousins for several hours. 

 

According to reports, Jeremiah Rodriguez, 34,  allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend early this morning. He held 33-year-old Viscaacuba James and her three children and two cousins at gunpoint before leaving the residence with James at noon. Rodriguez is reportedly driving a silver 2001 Chrysler Concord. He may be headed to the New Orleans area. Rodriguez is considered armed and dangerous.
