East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives received information that a man was possible cooking meth in the 16400 block of Frenchtown Road. Deputy proceeded to the location and observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Deputy located a man inside the vehicle, Polo Mouton, 31, that had outstanding bench warrants. Deputy also located a booksack inside the vehicle which he received permission to search. Deputy located items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Mouton told the deputy he used the items to cook meth and he was bringing them to destroy them.
Mouton is charged with Creation and Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory Within One Thousand Feet of a BREC Park and with outstanding bench warrants for Possession of Schedule I Narcotics and Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Lab.
