EBRSO Narcotics Agents Arrest Man With Drugs, Guns and Cash

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives arrested a man, seized drugs, weapons and money after executing a search warrant yesterday evening at 1515 Harding Blvd.

Rodney Jermaine Johnson, 37, of 9518 Meadowdale Dr. is charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute (PWITD) Schedule II (Oxycodone), PWITD Schedule II (Methamphetamine), PWITD Schedule I (Heroin), Distribution of Schedule I (Heroin), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Detectives executed a search warrant at Johnson’s “tattoo business” yesterday evening on Harding Boulevard that was obtained after agents purchased Heroin from Johnson. Agents located the following at the business:

  • 98.3 grams of Crystal Meth
  • 4.1 grams of Marijuana
  • 5 grams of Heroin
  • 699 IDUs of Oxycodone
  • a digital scale
  • semi-auto pistol

Johnson told detectives he had Marijuana and a second pistol at his residence. Upon searching the residence and vehicles agents located the following:

  • 265 oxycodones
  • two digital scales
  • approx. $2000 in one vehicle
  • $58,000 in another vehicle

Detectives transported Johnson to parish prison where he was booked on the above listed charges.
